    drying pigs before being Cement Mortar Lined in situ Stack yard lining of pipes consists of Cement Mortar Lining the pipes in individual lengths in a stockpile before installation Installation of epoxy linings is provided either in situ after the laying is complete or in the stack yard Due to Esor s market share in the pipeline industry close relationships have been struck with the manufacturers and suppliers of the various corrosion protection products enabling them to keep up with modern techniques and advances more Pipeline earthworks With the backing of a fleet of new and well maintained plant within the Group Esor Pipelines provides pipeline earthworks services from site clearance to final reinstatement A competent in house survey department allows for Esor Pipelines to offer the complete package in terms of pipeline earthworks associated structures and ancillary works In line with the Esor Pipelines Environmental Management Policy extreme care is taken to prevent or minimise adverse environmental impacts arising from their operations Trench excavations are carried out to design grades levels and profiles Associated to the earthworks Esor Pipelines further sources transports and stockpiles bedding and padding materials and places and compacts these according to design requirements Further services include Placing and compaction of common backfill Excavation for other structures such as valve chambers pump stations etc Replacement of topsoil environmental measures to control erosion and replanting of grasses and plant species per Environmental Management Plan Final site reinstatement more Structures Esor Pipelines have over the years established themselves as the complete package offering the client all spheres of pipeline construction It is thus that Esor Pipelines have built crews to cater for the construction of reinforced concrete and brick structures These structures include the following Pump stations Reservoirs Chambers Telemetry structures Encasements Anchor and thrust blocks Further to this Esor offers through our network of specialised sub contractors the installation of structural steel as well as electrical and mechanical works including telemetry more Testing and Pigging of Completed Pipeline Sections Esor Pipelines have the resources and expertise to carry out testing of pipelines to pressures up to 150 bar This is expedited by sealing test sections of the pipeline before it is filled with test media such as water or air The pipeline is then pressurised to the specified test pressure and allowed to stand at the specified pressure for a specified period Services further include pigging of lines as required brushing swabbing gauging de watering drying etc using water dry air or chemical swabs as specified more Valves Specials Esor Pipelines are proud to be associated with World leaders in the supply of valves for all applications Our strong ties with these Companies allow us a competitive advantage in terms of the procurement of valves which are often imported from abroad Esor Pipelines have over the years gathered the expertise to successfully install valves of varying application and specification The manufacture of specials such as bends tees and flanged stubs is for the most part carried out

    Germiston and ending at Reservoir Rd in Boksburg Our scope also includes 1 stormwater canal crossing 2 rail road crossings 1 un utilised railroad cutting and 17 road crossings The project was completed in December 2014 more Major Villages Water Supply Distribution network rehabilitation for Mahalapye and Palapye Botswana As we are targeting selected African countries the award to Pipe Services of these 2 projects fits our strategy and reduce our risk and dependency on the South African market The Palapye Major Water Supply contract that include 6 pipe jack crossings below existing roads and railways The sleeves that will be used is 1800mm and 1500mm inside diameters with a total jack length of 217 meters The Mahalapye Major Water Supply contract include 4 pipe jack crossings below existing roads and railways 1800mm and 1500mm diameter sleeves will also be used with a total jack length of 162 meters Treated Water will be running in the newly installed pipes from Water Treatment Plants The Palapye ring will be running from Botswana International University of Science and Technology water treatment plant whilst Mahalapye ring will run from Morale Hills water treatment works We have just completed the first crossing of 34m in Palapye starting another crossing under a railway line to cover 20m and continuing with the 1st Mahalapye pipejack for the project running under neath A1 road covering 61m and expecting to complete by end March 2016 The remaining pipejack crossings will all be completed by end of August 2016 more O6 Palmiet Pump Station Palm Ridge Reservoir The O6 project was awarded to Esor in May 2015 with a total of 9 jacks Since May 2015 we have finished three more jacks at Palmiet 06 line These three jacks were handed over to the pipelines crew to push the steel pipe through the concrete sleeves Our Original scope of work was to construct 9 pipe jacks on Portion B but we were awarded an additional pipe jack on Portion A of the project Progress to date on the remaining jacks is 7 91m at J8 9 92m at J13 and 70 118m at J14 This means we still have adequate secured work on this line to keep us busy for the calendar year Typical of the area we encountered a lot of mud and water at Jack 13 where we had to do piling to prevent mud slides and collapses This however did not improve the conditions to prevent the mud slides and collapses The soil was so saturated that the 3m OD concrete pipe just dug into the soggy soil at the bottom and instead of jacking up the pipe went down under its own weight We as Esor had to re design the jack alignment and thinking on our feet it was decided to stop both jacks 13 and 14 than was planned to go under the N3 and Jack 14 under the secondary road The net effect resulted in an additional 20m VO approved additional income

    South Africa These works are generally labour intensive due to the logistics of working within an inhabited area and therefore provide employment opportunities for local communities The successful implementation of these projects requires a collaborative effort from all stakeholders Sanitation and water reticulation infrastructure is implemented simultaneously in areas that have water borne sewerage These works include the construction of top structures house connections main laying and bulk connections In areas without a dependable water supply or bulk sewer reticulation the option of dry sanitation facilities are favoured and the most common solution is the construction of VIP s ventilated improved pits Our focus is to target bulk works as implemented by Government entities and organisations that have been mandated to expedite sanitation programmes and these include and not limited to The Department of Water and Sanitation Department of Education The Department of Housing District Municipalities and various NGO s Esor construction is well placed to compete in this sector due to our ability to engage and mentor local subcontractors and labour access to major suppliers improves our buying power and enables us to offer quality products good health and safety procedures improves service delivery while in house plant and
